Let’s clear something up right away—yes, my name is Jeffrey, but you can call me Jeff! And while my name is indeed Grounds, it’s actually my middle name (my last name is Anderson!). So now that we’ve got that sorted, we can focus on what really matters—making your wedding day incredible!

I thrive in anticipating your needs—often before you even realize them—prioritizing your experience, enhancing your wedding planning and wedding day, and by creating cherished memories for you and your loved ones to treasure for generations.

Losing my brother unexpectedly in early 2023 was a profound moment that reshaped my perspective on photography. I learned that I didn’t have a single photo of just the two of us together since we were kids. That realization reinforced how precious it is to document the moments we share with the people we love. It’s one of the driving forces behind my work—ensuring others never miss the chance to preserve their memories so they have them to look back upon when it counts.

A few fun facts about me
I was born and raised outside of Minneapolis and currently live outside of Denver, Colorado with my amazing wife and best friend, Jen, who shoots as one of my second photographers too!
I’ve participated in more weddings than most people I know. In addition to the hundreds of weddings I’ve photographed, I grew up as a pastor’s son and was always behind the scenes of weddings. I’ve been a groomsman about half a dozen times, the best man three times, the officiant twice, a bartender, a caterer, and a guest more times than I can count – and, of course, my all-time favorite roll was as a groom!
I also traveled to all 50 states before I was 15 and have lived in various parts of the world, has my wife, so if your nuptials take you to some far off corner of the earth, we’re down for that too!!
